Pest Control Claims
We represent clients in regard to damages as a result of the treatment of homes and businesses for pests, including termites and bed bugs. Bed bugs have recently become more prevalent in Georgia, being found in homes, apartments, hotels, and dormitories. In regard to pests found on the premises, as with any premises liability case, an owner of a home or business property has the duty of ordinary care to keep the owner’s property reasonably safe for invitees on the premises. We successfully handled pest control claims in Mug a Bug Pest Control v. Vester, 270 Ga. 407 (509 SE2d 925)(1999).
